Spring Fair Update 🎉
The countdown is on — Spring Fair is almost here! Behind the scenes, we’ve been busy planning, organizing, and getting everything ready for an amazing evening of fun for our school community. We’re also trying a few new things this year, so we wanted to keep everyone in the loop!
🎁 Spring Fair Baskets
We are now collecting items for our themed Spring Fair baskets (the themes - assigned by classroom - are listed below). We will also happily accept baskets, bins or containers to help display all the goodies!
This year, basket raffle tickets will be available for presale through School Cash 5 tickets for $10.00. Tickets will be sent home before the event so you can bring them to the fair and drop them into the raffle bags for your favourite baskets. Don’t worry if you miss the presale — tickets will still be available at the Spring Fair too!
Winners will be contacted after the event to arrange basket pickup at the school.

🔑 Lucky Key Game
Our brand-new Lucky Key Game is already creating lots of excitement! Lucky Keys are available on School Cash, and your key ticket will be sent home along with your Spring Fair tickets.
Only 100 Lucky Keys will be available, so be sure to grab yours before they’re gone!
At approximately 6:45 p.m., we’ll start drawing keys from the bucket as participants try their luck unlocking the mystery prize door. One lucky key will open the door and win the prize!
A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated old keys — we are still collecting more, so keep checking those junk drawers! This fun new game was the idea of our Student Voice Committee, who thought the grown-ups deserved a game of their own at the fair too.
📚🥫 Book & Food Drive
We’re also excited to support our school and community through a Book & Food Drive at this year’s Spring Fair! We’ll be collecting non-perishable food items for the Lions Pantry as well as gently used children’s books for the school. If you’re able, please consider bringing along a donation and helping us spread a little extra kindness while you enjoy the fair.
💧 Sustainability Efforts
As part of our sustainability efforts this year, we encourage families to bring their own reusable water bottles if possible. We’ll be serving tap water from our new water jug station to help cut down on waste and keep everyone refreshed throughout the evening.
🪑 Supporting Our School
We’re also excited to share that a portion of this year’s fundraising efforts will go toward much-needed new furniture for the school. Samples of the furniture will be on display at the Spring Fair so families can see some of the exciting improvements we hope to bring to our learning spaces.
🎪 Activities & Fun
As always, the Spring Fair will be packed with activities, games, prizes, and fun for the whole family. You’ll find all the old favourites along with some exciting new additions this year! We’ll also have the Lions Club BBQ, treats, snacks, and plenty of chances to make great memories together.
